Your life is a love letter. Think about it. It's a love letter between you and God. It is full of the joys and challenges of life uniquely shared with God. He is there every day, every minute, and every evening. He holds your cares and concerns in the palm of His hand. He reaches out to you with answers in a myriad of ways. He's always working on your behalf in all of your minutes throughout the day.
So, how are you a participant in this love letter? (Love letters always beg for a response, you know). That's where your actions and prayers come in. The love is a given. It's what you do with it that makes a difference. Thoughts, actions, words, and deeds throughout your day are your responses to God's love letter, His calling. It may be someone you helped. It may be the way you helped yourself or had courage in His name to try something new, something outside of your comfort zone. Each prayer, each thought, and every concern you share with God is a response to His love letter, His calling in your life.
There are 3 original love letters. The first was the Bible, God's love letter to us all. It defines love and provides the foundation for how to respond in and with love in our lives. The second love letter is Jesus Christ. For God so loved the world, He gave us His only to Son that we may be reconciled unto Him. The third love letter in your life...THAT'S YOU! For God so loved your corner of the world, He blessed its people with YOU.
You are here for a reason and a purpose under God and that reason/purpose has something mightily to do with love. Keep your love letter going strong. It has a beautiful, miraculous origin.
