The Stephen Ministry
The Stephen Series gave us access to extensive training, resources, and ongoing support from Stephen Ministries St. Louis. This enabled us to set up and administer a system for additional lay ministry in the congregation. Lay caregivers (called Stephen Ministers) provide one-to-one Christian care to those who are bereaved, hospitalized, terminally ill, separated, divorced, unemployed, relocated, or facing another crisis or life challenge for as long as needed.
